Flyers After School 2025-26
Clubs: After-school clubs that meet once or twice a week. The format and offerings depend on teacher availability, the principal's preference, and meeting slots per session. Consequently, not all sessions may have a specific club running. We conduct registrations in three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Basketball: Students build their basketball skills through drills, teamwork activities, and scrimmages. The club welcomes all levels and emphasizes sportsmanship, strategy, and staying active.
Chineese Language and Culture: Students explore the basics of Mandarin Chinese and learn about Chinese traditions, holidays, games, and food. No prior language experience is required...just curiosity!
Gardening: Students work together to plant, grow, and care for fruits, vegetables, and flowers. They learn about nature, sustainability, and the environment while helping maintain the school garden.
Track & Field: Students learn and practice a variety of running, jumping, and throwing events. This club focuses on building fitness, improving technique, and developing teamwork through fun workouts and friendly competitions.
Soccer: Students practice ball-handling, passing, shooting, and game strategy. The club encourages teamwork and offers plenty of time for games and skill-building activities.
Rainbow Club/ GSA: A safe, welcoming club where students support one another, learn about inclusion, and work to make the school a more accepting place for everyone. Open to all students who want to promote kindness and respect.
Pop Choir: A fun, energetic singing group focused on popular music. Students learn vocal techniques, harmonize with others, and perform upbeat songs at school events.
Jazz Band: For students who play band instruments and want to explore jazz. Members learn improvisation, jazz styles, and ensemble skills while preparing exciting pieces for performances.
Yearbook Club: Students help design and create the school yearbook by taking photos, writing captions, interviewing classmates, and organizing page layouts. The club teaches teamwork, creativity, and basic design skills.
