Fuller Middle School Clubs

FPS After School Flyers clubs typically meet once per week for 10 weeks. Some clubs like Robotics may meet more often. All clubs are offered to middle school students free of charge. Session 1 Clubs run from October 5th - December 16th, 2026.

Description of Session 1 Clubs: 

Monday Clubs

Cosmetology Club with Mrs. Perodin: Cosmetology club is a fun and creative space where students can explore their passion for beauty, hair, makeup, and personal style. Students have the opportunity to develop new skills, express their creativity, and learn from one another in a supportive environment. Also the club helps students build confidence, teamwork, and valuable skills that can inspire future careers in the beauty industry.

Code Breakers Club with Mrs. Picard: Code Breakers is a problem-solving and logic-based after-school activity where students work individually and in small groups to solve a variety of puzzles and challenges. Activities may include decoding secret messages, ciphers, logic-grid puzzles, riddles, pattern and sequence challenges, deduction puzzles, and multi-step mystery challenges. Students will practice critical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork while working through increasingly challenging puzzles.

Math Club with Mrs. Burkett: Students can come to math club to get extra help on their math homework or classwork. They can also study for quizzes/tests, do make up work, get extra practice, or ask any math questions in general.

Yearbook Club with Mrs. Gallagher: Students will work together to create a school yearbook. They will create the layout of the book, take pictures of after school club members and be responsible to submit the book by the due date in April.

Tuesday Clubs

Homework Club with Mr. Faller: Students who need additional support with homework are encouraged to join this club to receive help in a supportive, focused, and calm environment.

Reading Club with Mrs. Leigh-Manuell:  We will read for fun to promote a love of reading. The students will pick the books and then we will discuss them as a group. There will be no writing of essays about what we read, the goal of this club is to promote reading for fun!

Multicultural Cooking Club with Mr. Marin

Film Study Club with Ms. Picard: Film Study is an after-school activity where students explore movies as both viewers and creators. Students will watch and discuss a variety of films, examining what makes a movie engaging, effective, and memorable. Through guided discussions and activities, students will explore elements of filmmaking such as storytelling, characters, plot structure, cinematography, music and sound, editing, themes, and visual techniques. As the club progresses, students will apply what they have learned by working individually or in small groups to develop, plan, and create their own short film.

Wednesday Clubs

Creativity Club with Mrs. Lovett: Join the Creativity Club to have some fun and be creative. Activities will include painting, jewelry making, photography, etc. There will be a craft or activity each day, but also some time for you to work on your own ideas. Are you interested in writing a book? Learning to make friendship bracelets? This might be the club for you.

Latin American Traditional Art Club with Mrs. Mendez: Students learn about and create art inspired by the diverse cultures of Latin America. Projects may include traditional crafts, patterns, textiles, painting styles, and holiday-based artworks, while exploring the history and meaning behind each tradition. This club is offered in Spanish and is for 6th and 7th grade Spanish speaking students only. 

Newspaper Club with Mrs. Gallagher: Students will format and create a school newspaper. The goal is to create a new one every three to four weeks. Students will write and photograph current events happening in school and projects that classes are working on. Students can also choose other ideas they may have for articles. Students will create the newspaper digitally to send to the Fuller community.
